Allow us to share the tale!When brainstorming, the owners sought something distinctive, jovial, and perhaps a tad scandalous. Initially, we toyed with names like "The King's Mistress," but with the coronation buzz, it felt a bit too cheeky! Then, during a convivial evening of drinks, one of their sons had a stroke of genius – "The Bishops Mistress." Instantly, we knew it was perfect!This name not only adds a touch of intrigue but also pays homage to Charles and Frances and their early married life in Kingston upon Thames. They frequented a riverside pub called "The Bishop," adding a charming connection to our own establishment.
